• FOREIGN INVESTMENT RISK and INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY RISK

In May this 2019 it was announced that Google and other businesses that trade in Unite States have
charge to change the way they deal with Huawei. The chinese giant was blacklisted by the US, because
of national security threat. Trump said that Huawei is a big concern of their military and of their
intelligence agencies. After that Australia and Japan have blocked Huwaei from involvement in their 5G
networks. Multiple retailers and networks around the world have had stop dealing with Huawei for fear
of sanctions from the US government. It’s problematic for Huawei because they can’t preload their
future phones with Google apps like Maps, Youtube and the play store or Google assistant which widely
used by the consumer worldwide.
