Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dancethat combines elements of


several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical
ballet.Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through
fluid dance movements.

Normally, the ballet’s basic technique is perceived as ideal for a dancer. Has the dancer
a strong ballet technique seen as beneficial for many styles, and largely the jazz dance.
It has given the ballet a hierarchical superior position in terms of body ideals and
training ideals.

contemporary dance is a bit difficult because I only dance once and contemporay dance
is OK because the dance is not fast and it is fun for our group because they don't dance
too much when we perform and we laugh because others say they do not want to dance
as much as they used to dance
