(Titanic)

The audience has grown to love the characters they have been introduced to. In 1912 an
exceptional beat was created, one that was far supreme to any other previously seen. Its name
was TITANIC. In this essay I intend to explain how, using various special effects and
techniques, James Cameron and his crew along with the help of extremely talented divers,
managed to create a true cinematic masterpiece namely the film ‘titanic’. Also, I will
demonstrate how the universal themes of ‘forbidden love’ and ‘courage in the face of disaster’
were used as a key to show the audience around all sections of the boat. In addition to this, by
focusing on some main characters I will explain how it enables the audience to become more
emotionally involved.

I’m going to write about my favorite movie. Titanic. The story of titanic is told by an old
women by the name of Rose Dewitt Bukater stating her recollection of when her young Self
sailed on the titanic and what event occurred during her stay. Her story was one tragic love story.
They fell for each other fairly quickly when rose was threatening to jump like rose’s fiancé. One
night while they were having fun on the lower levels of the ship, that is when the titanic hit a big
iceberg they couldn’t avoid since it was much larger underwater than it appeared to be on the
surface. All women and children were ask to climb abroad small boats and some less fortunate
poor people were left locked downstairs. The security took him down in the struggle they finally
managed to get on the deck of the ship where rose was forced by her fiancé to get on a small
boat. Rose was staring at jack while she was being lowered and couldn’t Bare the thought of
being without him so she jumped off the small boat onto the sinking titanic. Celedon tried to kill
them because of his outrage that his fiancé was in love with another man pushing the couple in
the lower levels of the sinking ship. After the ship, rose was laying on a floating door while jack
was in love with getting frozen by the waters holding on to the floating door. Jack eventually
died from being was too cold moments before help arrived. When rose got to safety she saw
celadon looking for her and she had from him, she had lost her true love and never forgot him.it
was a touching love story with a background of a loss of titanic in 1912. The director is James
Cameron, and the release date is 20 December 1997. They fell in love. However, Caledon made
a false charge against him because he noticed rose loved jack not him. There are people laughing
and smiling and generally having an enjoyable time. Jack and rose are visibly enjoying
themselves. As they dance together there are many close up shots to show the emotion on each of
their faces. These to create the feeling of pleasure as jack and rose spend time together and
become close to each other. This type of shot is used when jack and rose are dancing in the
steerage party. Jack is spinning rose around in circles and the camera repeatedly changes
between a shot from jack looking at rose’s face and a shot from rose looking at jacks face. At the
dinner there are many looks across the table ones that suggest there is something between jack
and rose. They waited for rescue in the cold sea. I watched many passenger died, so I was
shocked by the scene. Rose was rescued by jack’s help but at last was dead. Rose survived, but
she lost her lover. She will love him forever. It’s really bitter love story, so I always felt sad after
watching it, but I think it’s the best love story. This movie was a fictional story based on the true
ship, titanic. Cameron’s movie was based on love story. However, the focus of this paper will be
on some of the differences between the two classes abroad the titanic. Is a wonderful love story
based on real life movies, as told by rose. The main character of the story. Kate Winslet captured
her character beautifully, acting as, if she Where really in a higher class in 1912. Most of this
movie takes place on the titanic. The whole movie seems like a flashback to April 1912. The
movie is powerful, wonderful, and at times, very emotional. This can be related to many other
times in American history when groups were segregated as well.

This movie was presented in the non- linearly from since it was going from the older rose
telling her story as she remembered to the younger rose. The story jumps back and forth in time.
non- linearly event move from the present to the future to the past, and so on, with no regard for
chronological order. Having a hard time being together because of the fiancé, the titanic hitting
an iceberg, jack accused of stealing a valuable diamond. The ship and rose losing the love of her
life. The character development was perfect for this story. You have one poor man, a rich women
with a rich fiancé surrounded by rich people. All come from a different background. Jack would
be the protagonist which the audience like him and is the main character. The villain also known
as the antagonist would be Caledon. In a story, you always need a good protagonist and someone
that the audience couldn’t care less about in order to get an impact on the story and make it
interesting. This movie is the very famous movie as you know. The main cast is Leonardo
DiCaprio, he played Jack Dawson who was poor and wanted to be artist, and Kate Winslet
played rose Dewitt bukater who was rich girl in the upper classes.
