We here at Jodo Project like to try and make reading JoJo's Bizarre Adven- ture an entirely natural experience for English-speaking audiences, but there are still some things from the original Japanese that we feel could use additional explanation or commentary. ‘Giorno Giovanna vs Haruno Shiobana’ - You'll have to trust us that “Giorno” and “Haruno” sound a bit more similar in Japanese! Also, while 10.a Western audience, Giovanna is recogniz able as a female name, it’s less easy for a Western reader to recognize that Haruno is a ve feminine name as well, Giorno’s name is rather effeminate. ‘Money given in yen’ - We really, really didn’t want to do this, and in lact an earlier version of this volume (as well as the color chapter as it originally appeared in Weolely Jump) had the monetary amounts in ire!
