JOB DESCRIPTIOn:

POSITION BACKGROUND:

 Minimum 3 years working experience on laboratory instruments like HPLC/GC/UV/IR and AAS.
 Should have knowledge of instrument software like lab solutions, chromeleon.
 Should have knowledge of Data integrity and its requirement and expertise in operating
instruments with 21 CFR part 11 compliant software.

 Should be able to resolve minor instrument (HPLC /GC/UV/IR) trouble shooting and their
maintenance.
 Should be able to manage QMS (Quality Management Systems ) like OOS, Deviations and
Laboratory incidents.
 Should be able to operate SAP for results entry.

. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Should have basic knowledge of LIMS.

 Responsible to follow safety, Occupational health & environment.

 Responsible for area Ownership concept.

 To follow Good Laboratory practice in the department.

 Responsible for calibration instruments as per calibration schedule.

 Responsible for sampling and analysis of raw materials, finished products, in-process and stability
samples.

 Responsible for process validation, cleaning validation samples and analytical method validation
of the products.

 Responsible for storage and documentation of reference sample of raw material from pharma and
chemical section.

 Responsible for destruction and documentation of leftover samples after analysis in case of raw
materials and in-process samples after analysis.

 Responsible for analysis of trial batches and purchase samples.


 Responsible for monitoring and recording of room temperatures.
 Responsible for 5S in the laboratory.

 Intimating the requirement of spares/reagent/chemicals/columns/solvents for procurement.

 Maintaining housekeeping of the laboratory.

 Responsible for following hygiene practices.

 Ability to work in shifts

 Good communication & Presentation skills.

 Strong networking with Production, warehouse, Quality Assurance.

 Knowledge about Pharmaceutical production / Packaging and guidelines

 Knowledge about basic principles of Pharmaceuticals

 Added advantage would be exposure to USFDA or other such regulatory authorities.

EDUCATION:

3 years of relevant working experience in Pharma sector, holding Masters Degree in Pharmacy or
Bachelors degree in Pharmacy or Master degree in Science.
