Reader Response 6

In conclusion, the dichotomy of fiction vs. reality is false as fiction is born out of reality.

It expresses the realities of the creator and one can see the influence of real life in their work.

This is important to understand as a society because fiction is a conduit from which the real

world can be viewed without actually confronting what’s happening in reality. Not only that, but

seeing how fiction is derived from reality, one can better infer and contextualize written works.

Furthermore, understanding this false dichotomy allows people to better grasp the confines of the

real world on fiction.
