Okay so Kree is an interesting case, she’s a sun elf who comes from a long line of

proud warriors, all of whom were renowned for their prowess with a blade in battle,
some of the best swordspeople around. Thousands of years ago, one of her great
great grandfather’s fought a powerful dracolich, Osk the Undying. He struck the
creature down and wounded it badly enough that it had to go into hiding to lick it’s
wounds for a millennia, but as it retreated it cursed the sword that was used to
defeat it. Heartseeker, it was named. And it would give whoever wielded it terrible
power, the power to pierce your enemies heart in a single blow, a blade sharp
enough to sever even things invisible to the eye. But it would always, inevitably, turn
on it’s owner, and cut them down. And so on down Kree’s family tree, her ancestor’s
have fought and achieved great glory, and always fallen on their own sword. Her
mother went that way. But Kree is a different, always more interested in science,
and inventing. She studied alchemy under Dr. Proust, one of the great minds of the
era, (he’s their mentor) and with his help she was able to create a new form of
weapon (obviously this is a gun). She left home to work as a bounty hunter with
Heartsworn, her gun (so named as a reminder), and she is constantly in search of
the Dracolich, or any information on his location. Only by finding him and
eliminating him for good can she end the curse. When she left home, she took
Heartseeker with her, to keep her younger brother, Set, from falling to the
temptation of the curse. So now here she is, a gunslinger hauling a ridiculous sword
around that she can never use because she’ll die if she does, in pursuit of an
immensely powerful and evil Dracolich that she doesn’t know if she’ll ever be able to
track down. But at least she’s having fun!
