What connections have you had from what you’ve studied in this LW course with what you’ve learned
from other courses you have taken at SLCC or have learned before taking this class?

Diligence is the main point. If you want to do well in any class, you must put in the constant effort and
time into the class. Working out and setting goals are a great way to motivative yourself to do better.

Make specific references to your work in this class and in other courses.

When you exercise it has been proven to increase your productivity and with this class it helped me
have the best grades, I have had at SLCC. I believe that that working towards your making your body
healthier makes you want to make your mind healthier as well. Thus, you study more.

How did what you learned in other courses enhance what you learned here, and vice versa?

I learned in this class to make a list of set goals for the day, week and month then work toward
accomplishing those goals. I included working on my other classes in tandem with the goals I had set for
this class.

Reflect on what you thought about fitness and lifelong wellness before you took this course and how
you think about it now that you have completed the course.

I thought that this course would just include working out every couple of days and reporting on it, but I
was pleasantly surprised when we made different goals through out the weeks and set up was to
accomplish them and better ourselves physically.

Have any of your assumptions or understandings changed?

The importance of having a goal when working out.

Why?

Before this I didn’t really have goals I just kind of worked out until I was tired and then stopped. But
goals you really can see how you are improving, what to improve on and you make bigger strides to do
so.

What assignments/activities/readings were influential in this process?

The wellness challenges help you pick out goals to strive for and helps you set up a plan to accomplish
them.

How will you approach what influenced you differently in the future?

I will be trying to set up a work out notebook so that I can keep track of everything I’m doing to see if
I’m improving or if I’m regressing.
