Subject: Settlement of “Naya Bharat- Hum karke rehenge at Shillong” during

March 2018

1. Placed below are Exb. Bills in duplicate on the subject cited above of
exhibition conducted during march 2018 forwarded by DDO Guhawati for
settlement of bills of on account advance of Rs. 3,69,581/- drawn from
DAVP(HQS) New Delhi. With the remarks “As the advance drawn from PAO
DAVP Delhi. Hence bill be adjusted by the PAO DAVP Delhi”

2. In this regard it is intimated that a meeting in the chairmanship of CCA Sh.

Vinod Kumar was held in the ministry during February 2018 undersign &
DDO Vinesh Chandra, PAO DAVP and other officers were present. It was
decided by CCA M/O I&B that all the adjustment bills which are received
after March, TA, LTC, EXH. Etc. may be forwarded to concerned ROB’s
positively for settlement and the DDO’S of ROB’s after settlement of their
bills shall intimate the adjustment bill no. and date to HQRS so that no
advance remains outstanding in advance registers which will invite audit
paras on letter stage. In compliance of CCA’s order all the advance bills
which were received afere 31st march 2018 i.e. TA, LTC, EXH. Etc. was sent
back to respective ROB’s for settlement.

3. In this regard it is submitted that bill may be settled at DDO Guwahati level
Exh. Account separate since budget allocation has already been done for
each ROB’s and the adjustment bill no may be intimated to BOC HQ.
Positively so the outstanding advance can be settled.
