Assignment 5: Demand Forecasting

Please read Four Steps to Forecast Market Demand.

This is a group assignment. For this exercise, you need to decide a real-life
product/service pertaining to the industry/product category you have been assigned. You
need to provide a 5 minutes presentation (followed by the questions and answers session)
on the following areas in session on October 25, 2019 of the Managerial Economics
module titled Demand Forecasting. This would be a graded assignment. After the
presentation, one member of the group would need to upload the presentation on LMS
clearly mentioning names of the group members on the first slide. In case, some group
member could not contribute effectively to this exercise, let me know at the start of the
group discussion or in private before the session and marks will be adjusted accordingly.

3. What factors affect the demand of the product positively or negatively?
4. What factors affect the supply of the product positively or negatively?
5. What sort of sensitivity analysis do you think would be useful while forecasting
