Motherboard

- A printed circuit board


containing the principle
components of a computer or
other device, with connectors
into which other circuit boards
can be slotted.

- The motherboard is the


communications center.
Processor (CPU)

- A central processing unit or


(CPU) is the electronic
circuitry within a computer
that carries out the
instructions of a computer
program.

- It does this by performing


the basic arithmetic, logical,
control and input/output
operations specified by the
instructions.
Random-Access-Memory (RAM)

- Ram is the memory space for


completely random types of
saves like any different type of
byte

- Data that must be accessed


quickly is kept in RAM, such as
running applications and
opening files.
Power Supply

- A power supply unit converts


mains AC to low-voltage regulated
DC power for the internal
components of the computer.

- The hardware component that


supplies power to an electrical
device.
Hard Drive

- A high-capacity, self contained


storage device containing a
read-write mechanism plus one
or more hard disk, inside a
sealed unit.

- A non-volatile memory
hardware device that
permanently stores and
retrieves data on a computer.
Network Card

- A part of a computer that


connects to a local area network
(LAN) or the internet wirelessly
or through an ethernet cable.

-This is the main device to let


your computer do things that
require network/internet.
