Sixth Grade Health Term Project
Reflection Logs
Due March 2, 2019
As we go through the units, I want you to think about why the information you are learning is important. Think about what the content
means to you at this point in your life, but also how you might use this information later in your life.
Project Components:
The reflection logs should be written in Times New Roman, double-spaced, 12 point font. Each reflection should take up about a page
worth of writing in your own words. The top of each reflection should be titled with the unit that was covered.
● Cover page that includes your name, grade, term and year (ONE PAGE)
● Unit Reflections (ABOUT ONE PAGE LONG FOR EACH UNIT)
○ At the end of each unit, write a reflection and answer the following questions.
1. What was the unit? Give a brief summary of the topic
2. Why is what you just learned important to you and your health?
3. What were your favorite and least favorite parts of the unit?
4. Would you change, or add anything to this unit? Why or why not?
5. How do you think you will use this information later in your life?
● Final Takeaways (This is your time to review the class and tell me what you thought of the term. Be honest! What did you
like about the way it was taught? What would you change? Is there anything that really stuck out to you? Etc.) (ONE PAGE)
○ What were some things from a unit that really stuck with you?
○ Did the class go how you thought it would? Why or why not?
○ What are some ways that you can keep healthy and fit for the rest of your life?
