How to Put on Makeup Nov 13, 2019

This is a process that many women take part in every morning. Whether you are looking for a
natural look or an extremely colorful makeup look, you can follow these basic steps to achieve your desired
outcome. Within the Equipment and Supplies section, there is a high-end and a drugstore suggestion for
each product listed.

WARNING: Some makeup will cause an allergic reaction to different types of skin so make sure you read
the ingredients if you are aware of a chemical allergy you have. Also make sure to keep all product out of
your eyes, nose and mouth.
Equipment/ Supplies-
 Eyeshadow Primer (Urban Decay Primer Potion, NYX Eyeshadow base)

 Eyeshadow palette (Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance, Morphe Jaclyn Hill)

 Liquid Eyeliner (Stila Liquid Liner, NYX Liquid Liner)

 Mascara (Too Faced Damn Girl, Essence You Better Work)

 Brow Pencil (IT Cosmetics Universal Brow, Elf Precision Brow)

 Brow Gel (Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel, Morphe Brow Setter)

 Primer (Becca backlight, Catrice hydrating)

 Foundation (NARS Natural Radiant Longwear, Maybelline Super Stay)

 Concealer (Tarte Shape Tape, Colourpop No Filter Matte)

 Setting Powder (Beauty Bakerie, Maybelline Fit Me)

 Bronzer (Benefit Hoola, Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer)

 Blush (Laura Geller Pink Grapefruit, NYX Baked Blush)

 Face Wash (anything you normally use that doesn’t break you out or cause your skin to have a reaction)

Steps-
1. Wash your face with face wash and warm water.

2. Pat face dry with a towel, until your face is completely dry.

3. Get a quarter sized amount of face primer and dot it all over your face. Blend in with your fingers.
4. Apply a pea sized amount of eyeshadow primer to eyelids and blend with fingers covering your

whole eyelid.

5. To apply eyeshadow use the eyeshadow palette chosen. Using a large fluffy eyeshadow brush,

circulate the brush in your crease until the edges of the eyeshadow you are applying have no harsh

lines around the edges. Follow the pictures below for two different eyeshadow look options,

remember to blend out the eyeshadow edges as described up above, throughout the process.

6. Once eyeshadow is blended, apply liquid eyeliner to both eyes.

7. Look down and apply mascara to your top eyelashes, in an upward motion until desired length and

volume are achieved.

8. Look up and apply mascara to your bottom eyelashes in a downward motion until desired length

and volume are achieved.


9. Pour a quarter sized amount of foundation on the back of your hand.

10. Take a large flat brush and dip it into the foundation and swipe it all over your face.

11. Using a flat topped brush, use circular motions to blend foundation evenly over face.
12. Apply concealer under your eyes in a triangular shape, blend with brush.

13. Take eyebrow pencil and using small upward strokes, fill in the areas of each brow that look bare or

lighter than the rest of your eyebrow, until brows looks as dark or as filled in as desired.
14. Apply brow gel in an upward motion to both eyebrows.

15. Apply setting powder to entire face, except for over your eyeshadow and brows, using a large fluffy

brush.
16. To apply bronzer take a large, slightly pointed brush (similar to the one pictured below) and lightly

carve out the hollows of your face by applying the product with stroking motions going from the top

of your ear to the corner of your mouth, placing it underneath your cheekbones.

17. To apply blush use a large fluffy brush. Using similar strokes to how you applied the bronzer, smile

with your mouth closed, and apply the blush to your cheekbones blending it back to your hairline.

18. Apply highlighter with a small face brush onto your cheek bones.
19. Spray setting spray all over face.
