CONFESSION
The Lord shall make me head, and not the tail, and I shall be above only and I shall not be
beneath.

INTRODUCTION
Education is light. When children fail to have proper education in life as a result of the
problem or the other or due to parental negligence, they become a shadow of themselves.
The children may end up in frustration and may not be the best they are destined to be in
life. The choice of school and type of education received by children are largely decided
and influenced by parents. When a wrong step is taken here, the future and the destiny of
such children is in jeopardy. May we not take steps that will mislead our children into a
wrong path and career in Jesus name. (Amen).

PARENTAL ROLE IN CHILDREN EDUCATION

The following under-listed are the expected roles and obligations towards their children
education and choice of schools.

Pray for God’s leading and guidance in enrolling them into the right school from
kindergarten to University level. Sometimes very expensive school may not be the best
for them, when you may think you have the money to do so. You may be led to an
average standard school where God has ordained that the children destiny will be built
in God’s way.

There was a time that my first daughter gained an admission to study abroad, the
school concluded, but in few weeks for her to take her flight and start schooling
there, God revealed why she should not go there and warned that she should stay in
Nigeria and study. I and my wife obeyed the leading of God, prayed about it and
 discussed this with our daughter, and to God be the glory, she is our pride today and
the step has never been regretted by her and we her parents.

Don’t say your friend or people of your callibre are taken their children to a
particular school or they are studying abroad, and you join them to boost your
personal ego without being led of God.

It can spell doom. Don’t decide and choose school by sight. Many schools lave
occultic and devilish foundation where the destiny and spiritual life of the children
can be destroyed

Constantly assess your children performance academically and see how he can improve
and do well.

Visit the school of your children, know their head teacher, proprietor/proprietress, the
class teacher and ask about the moral and academic performance of your children.

Never you allow your children to join bad gangs and do things the way they want like:-

Leaving home when they want without notice

Coming home late or staying away from home without a notice

Bringing in ungodly friends that can ruin their destiny.

Giving them too much freedom with opposite sex or encouraging them in undue
sexual immorality.

Dressing anyhow, wearing anything they like without cautioning them and teaching
them on how they have to portray themselves. Let them know that the way they
dress will determine how they will be addressed.

When in higher institution make it a point of duty to always visit them, check their
academic performance through their lectures and Head of Department. There have
been cases where some children did not gain admission or have been rusticated from
school campus and will still be parading themselves as undergraduates, collecting
school fees and materials from their parents while the parent will not be aware of the
state of their education. This is very bad.

Allow your children to develop and discover themselves in order to decide on what
subject to do, either a commercial subject or science subject, and when choosing a
career or course of study, that God will direct them accordingly. Not that you choose or
misdirect them according to your own desire which may not be God’s will for them.
Pray and commit them into the hand of God that will not be a casualty and victim of the
following:

o Accident and disasters

o Cultism and bad gangs

o Initiation into familiar spirit/witchcraft spirit

o Drinking of alcohol, bad habit, homosexual/lesbians, hard drug, promiscuity.

o Failure and rustication and ill-favoured treatment from their teacher/lecturer. i.e.
hatred and unnecessary persecution and witch hunting for bribery, corruption and
immorality.

o Pray that God will not allow the enemy to strike them with sickness and financial
problem on the part of the parent so as to attack their education at any state in life.

 PRAYERS
 Thank God for your children’s education so far in Jesus name.

 Thank God for the gift of God in the lives of your children in the name of Jesus.

 I will not mislead my children educationally in Jesus name.

 Oh Lord by your power, direct the path of my children in Jesus name.

 Oh Lord reveal to me every information needed about education of my children in

Jesus name.

 Oh Lord, help me to build wise enterprise for my children by planning in Jesus name.

 Father in the name of Jesus, let God’s counsel prevail above all in education of my
children in Jesus name.

 In the name of Jesus, my children shall be taught of the Lord educationally in Jesus
name.
 Oh Lord, by your power, assign my children teachers and role models after your
heart in Jesus name. Isaiah 54 v 13

 My children you will grow in favour with the relevant personalities and authorities
in the name of Jesus.

 Father in the name of Jesus, no teacher will victimize my children in Jesus name.

 Power of God for quick understanding locate my children in Jesus name.

 Excellent spirit from God, rest upon children in Jesus name. Dan. 1 v 20.

 My children, you will study the word of God in Jesus name.

 My children, as you study the words of God, you shall have understanding more than
your teachers in Jesus name.

 Holy Spirit anoint my children with inspiration in Jesus name. Job 32 v 6.

 Diligent Spirit from the Lord, possess my children in Jesus name.

 Spirit of skill and wisdom from the Lord possess my children in Jesus name.

 Spirit of skill and wisdom from God possess my children in Jesus name.

 Spirit of self organization for success and breakthrough possess my children in Jesus
name.

 Spirit of time management and retentive memory possess my children in Jesus

name.

 Spirit of destruction, error and mistake separate from my children in Jesus name.

 Every form of Satanic distraction targeting my children education die in Jesus name.

 Oh Lord, supply all my financial resources to attend to the need of my children in

Jesus name.

 Oh Lord my God, keep my children safe from all evil and corrupt communication in
Jesus name.

 I reject for my children strange and destructive friends in Jesus name.

 My children in the name of Jesus you will walk with the wise.

 Every Spirit of cultism in our campuses must disappear in Jesus name.

  Spirit of self confidence and self actualization for divine success and breakthrough
possess my children in Jesus name.

 Reject the following Spirit in the lives of your children in Jesus name:

o Spirit of drunkenness

o Spirit of Smoking

o Spirit of addiction

o Spirit of promiscuity

o Spirit of pimping

o Spirit of trading one’s body for money

o Spirit of covetousness and love of money

o Spirit of suicide and depression

o Spirit of carelessness.

o Spirit of low esteem

o Spirit of mind oppression

o Spirit of mistakes and errors

o Spirit of ungodliness

o Spirit of mismanagement and disorganization

o Spirit of destruction

o Spirit of failure
