Rhetoric (in my daily life)
Acknowledging My Surroundings
Upon waking up, I turn off my alarm on my phone and set it aside for later. I go about
getting my kids up and ready for school. As soon as we are in the vehicle, I turn on the radio
and hear about Mulley eating a multi-layered sandwich and fries. Listening to them talk about
how amazing it was, made me want to see it for myself (I could not find it on the internet.)
Next, they talked about Majestic Market Place and how one should stop by and drink some
beers or wine. I have seen where the Market is located before and can picture myself sitting out
on the patio, enjoying the beautiful weather and sipping on a glass of wine.

Once everyone is safe and sound, I head back home to do some yoga and then I get ready
for class. Before I head out the door, I grab my phone and put it straight into my bag. On the
drive to class, I pass Sonic and notice their advertisement of 50c corn dogs, which I have no
interest in. I find a parking spot quite easy and head into the building. I do not start taking
notice of advertisements until I pass the bathroom heading to the computer lab. There are ads
for REACH, which stands for Respond, Educate, Assess, Collaborate, and Health. If you or
anyone you know needs help with anything you may contact them and if you need to report a
potential violence, they have a website with a form to fill out, so if needed, please visit this
website https://spforms.coconino.edu/sites/reach/Lists/REACH%20Form/NewForm.aspx.

There is also a brochure for Anthropology Club, which is a class I will be talking next
semester; therefore, I find it interesting, but I am to busy to even join the club. Next, I notice an
England and Ireland summer tour flyer for 2020. I would love to tour another country and meet
Down the hall, I see a flyer saying the Sheriffs office is hiring, so I take a picture and send it
Office-Job. After all my classes, I go to pick up my kids and then we go straight home. At home, I
check my email and notice the daily emails from astrology.com trying to convince me to get a
reading so I can find the love of my life and another stating I have a potential future that I need
to know more about. I ignore them and just read the one for my daily horoscope.

There is a good deal of Rhetoric Texts in my life, whether, I acknowledge them or not. I am
not one to invite persuasion into my life, in fact I try my best to avoid it all, but I cannot fully
avoid it. I do enjoy some persuasion, when I can afford it. I would love to get my astrology
reading done for all parts of my life and get a birth chart done. If I had the extra time in my life I
would sign up for clubs. Rhetoric text, is not all bad, in fact some are for those in need and can
