Fall Tree Planting:

We need to see what this heat wave does

Other Business:
Wilson Street has a maple tree issue pushing up sidewalk. Maple trees should not have been planted in such a confined
space which was a design flaw. 18 trees are affected and a solution is being figured out.

Mrs. Palmer asked if there was a possibility of a pollinated garden being planted in the medians next to the viaduct on
South Michigan Street currently they are grass. The pollinated garden at the corner of LaPorte and Center is going well.

The Japanese Knotweed near the LaPorte and Center corner has been killed by the County. Now it will need to be
removed.
