The program is in partnership with the National Youth Commission (NYC), National Anti-Poverty Commission, City Government of Davao, and the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation of Davao City. Relative thereto, all the local chief executives are hereby enjoined to allow the participation of their respective SK Federation officers and members and SK Local Youth Development Council officers and members to the said activity, provided that it is within the Capability Development Agenda of the concerned local government unit (LGU). PILIPINAS BUKLOD YOUNG LEADERS EXCHANGE The Young Leaders Exchange: Exchange, Engage, and Transform ‘The Plpines BUKLOD Young Leaders Exchange Young Leaders Excrange (PBYLE) i the heart ofthe capacity development and ‘empowerment component ofthe BUKLOD Program. is a five-day Intensive taining that moves to heighten the awareness, ‘appreciation, and ability of young leaders to become peace weavers, peer falitators, problem solvers, and transformational leaders in their respecte communities. “The PEYLE targets to instil in young leeders the consciousness of being maka-Diyes, ‘maka. bayar, make-kalkasan, and makita through bayaninan. Ie further endeavors to culate Ife and leadership skis, increase ‘appreciation of civic engagement, and strenaten crosscuural Understanding. The PEYLE endeavors to offer Windanacan youth ‘and their counterparts the platform to gan valuable transferable le skils the team building, leadership development. and verbal communication. ft also intends to raise awareness and respect for ‘versity, personal values, and colaboratve engagement. ‘To attain the objectves of the program, the PBYLE will feature experiential and fun acthites such as breakout sessions, ‘workshops, pair discussions, wrap-up acthites, morning exercses, teambuiing challenges, solidarity dances, and deepening pathways. A community-based leadership training (CBLT) wil also bbe organized on the fourth day where the participants will be deployed to ALS learning center to apply he learning galned trom ‘he program and as simulation ofthe Bayanihan activity. They conser themsoives as stewards, PILIPINAS BUKLOD YOUNG LEADERS EXCHANGE Who Can Participate “Target participants tothe PBYLE are the officers and members of ‘Giy/Municpal SK Federation, Barangay SK, and Ciy/Municipal Local Youth Devetopment Councis. The scope of te invitation is limited only to the sforementioned groups to ensure the _epplcbilty ofthe communty-nased localization of the PBYLE. The Pricipants of the activity are expected to organize the Bayanihan ‘Camp, the replication component ofthe BUKLOD Program, In thelr respective barangays with the CBLT as tempat, ‘As the PBYLE functions also as a cultural exchange, the number of Participants will be equally shared between Mindanao end their counterparts fom Luzon and Visayas. The PEYLE is 2 convergence of young leaders, who accent the responsibilty of dedicating themselves to making a difference in their communities in particular and the nation in general es peace weavers, peer feciltators, and problem sobs. It fendeavors to inoulate and uphold in them the values and ideals of a vansformatonal leader and to prepare them to the bigger responsibilty of senng leading. and transforming communities. ‘Promulgation and Effectvity. To enable en atmosphere that Is conducive ofthe goals and objectives of the BUKLOD Program and one that s reflective ofthe work, Kea, and values of Youthiead Philipines (YL), these rules and guidlines are promulgated by the Central ‘Council and shall be effective upon confirmation of the online sigr-up system or upon signature of the Secretariat Senices Registration Form (SES-RP), whichever comes fist. Rule 2. Transportation 1 “Teavel Arrangements. Participants wil be responsible forthe purchase and arrangement of tek travel going to and from Eden Nature Park and Resort (the venue) for the BUKLOD Young Leaders Exchange (PBYLE). All related costs willbe shouldered by the participants ‘hemsehes. Any rangement made between the participants concemed and the ransportation provides shal be the responsibilty of ‘the two parties and shal not woe YLP. Offsite Events Transportation. Registration Processing 1 ‘Registration Confirmation and Admission Schedule. Participants with Halal restrictions or vegetarian preferences shall occupy the table assigned to them inthe mess hall, Provided that such restrictions are declared in the confined and approved SES-RF. YLP shall not accept onsite changes in the food restitons and preferences of participants. 111. Attendance. Parcipants must complete all the sessions to receve the complete set of cortices. Participants who falo attend any of ‘the sessions shal not receive the cerficate of completion. Paripants must als attend the actives to avoid eaming demerits. 12. Going Out of the Venue. Participants shall not be allowed to go out ofthe venue other than those included in the program or in case of ‘emergency. 413. YLP Store. Self Preparedness. Participants must have enough rest before attencing the PBYLE.
