DO'S & DON'TS for Vehicle- Pedestrian Interface in Potline

DO'S
FOR VEHICLE OPERATORS
1) Drive within speed limit (less than 20km/hr) and in
shop floor at man walking speed ( less than &km/hr)

2) STOP, LOOK, BLOW HORN,GO at propelias, sub

propelias, turning entrance / exit

3) When any person comes near the vehicle or in the way of

vehicle
A) Blow horn 4-5 times.
B) Stop vehicle till that person doesn’t move away.

4) When vehicle is not running , and every time you re start

movement blow horn 3-4 times.

FOR PEDESTRIANS

1) If any ATV or any vehicle comes in shop floor, person

should go in between the pots.

DON'TS
VEHICLE OPERATORS
1) Do not keep pallets/ladles on road, propelias-2,3,4

2) Do not keep pallets infront of computer SCADA and rest

zones in section.

3) Do not keep bins beside propelias and walkways.

4) Do not use mobile phone while driving the vehicle.

5) Do not park in front of CBS silo on roads.Also do not park or

stop at junction & turning area.
FOR PEDESTRIANS
1) While LTV is placing/lifting ladle in Sub Propelia no person
should come near the vehicle or handle the handle.
2) While ATV is placing/lifting pallet in section no person should
come near the vehicle or pallet/bins.

2) Do not use mobile phone while crossing the roads, propelias,

sub-propelias or on shop floor when in walking position
