Why do we need to work with pronunciation?

Practise different ways of showing stress in a word and be prepared to demonstrate
one. Do the same to show intonation.
Overstressing
Gesture (clicking fingers, clapping the word, moving the hand)
Making marks on the board (capitalization, underlining, stress marks, boxes)
Is sentence stress always the same? What does it depend on?
No, depends on the intention of speaker (what he/she wants to convey or emphasize)
