Herbed Burger Steak with Arugula Salad

1 onion, minced
1 Tbsp minced garlic
½ kg ground beef
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Dried rosemary
Salt and Pepper
Butter (Kerri gold)

Salad
1 cup arugula
2 tbsp full fat mayonnaise
1 tsp mustard
1 medium white onion diced
½ cup cheddar cheese cubed
½ cup cooked bacon

1. In a big bowl, combine ingredients for burger patty. Mix well to fully incorporate. Set aside in
the refrigerator for 30-45 minutes.

2. Heat butter. Scoop around ½ cup of meat mixture and form into a patty. Pan fry in hot oil for
3 minutes on each side or until desired doneness is achieved. Transfer on plates lined with
paper towel to drain excess oil. Set aside.

3. Combine mayonnaise and mustard. Toss the rest of the ingredients.

4. Top the salad with burger then serve.
