The Highlands is a place unlike anything else

The multitude of homeless and hippies

With her its different than by myself

She makes it better, even when it's nippy.

Our first date, we were both nervous fools

Both awkward nerds with no knowledge of love.

So naive, both try to find out the rules

In the game of romance, we need a shove

The enjoyment out in the public park

We walked around the old trails, hand in hand

There we stayed out all night into the dark

Even though it all didn't go as planned
