REMOTE WORKER POLICY
Overview
Remote working, or telecommuting, is the concept of working remotely, at a location other than a CXT Software or
‘customer facility, on a regular basis.
Certain job roles at CXT Software may be performed by remote workers. While remote working is not a formal,
universal employee benefit--rather it is a privilege granted by the Company--it can provide significant business
benefits when both the employee and the role are well-suited to working remotely. Remote working also provides
benefits to employees, especially when it eliminates lengthy commutes or enables them to work from a desired
location.
Remote working employees must agree to comply with the terms of this policy as well as all other Company policies,
rules, and practices.
Eligibility/Authorization
All employee remote working arrangements are at the discretion of the CXT Software executive responsible for the
‘employee's team (Engineering, Services, Product, or Sales & Marketing) and must be approved the CEO. Each
executive will evaluate the suitability of job roles along with training needs, collaboration requirements, ability of
the employee to work independently, as well as the leaders ability to measure remote employee performance,
before authorizing remote working arrangements.

discontinue individual or group remote working arrangements at any time.
Job Performance and Communication
Remote working employees must have the discipline to complete tasks and assignments and meet their objectives
with reduced levels of supervision, Remote employees will be expected to complete tasks and assignments in the
same timeframes as other employees, and their work outputs will be expected to meet the same standards.
Remote employees must also become fluent with communication tools such as email, instant messaging, and voice,
video, and web conferencing in order to effectively collaborate with teammates, customers, and managers.
Remote workers must put forth extra effort to communicate and collaborate effectively if they are to be successful.
Remote working employees will be required from time to time to attend meetings and other events at Company
facilities. No in-person customer or partner meetings will be conducted at a remote worker's location without
executive approval.

Compensation and Work Hours
Employee compensation, regular benefits, work status, and responsibilities will not typically change due to a remote
working arrangement. Certain employee benefits may not be available in all states.
Remote working employees are expected to work at least the same number of hours remotely as they would in a
Company facility. Remote workers, at managers’ discretion, may be required to track their working time. Accurate
time reporting enables leaders to balance workloads effectively, and ensures that employees are treated fairly
across the company. With manager approval, remote workers may work flexible schedules; however, remote
workers are expected to attend regulary scheduled meetings and will need to ensure that their schedules
accommodate the needs of customers, partners, and internal teams.
Remote working is not a substitute for dependent care. Remote workers will not be available during their working
hours to provide dependent care, except in special circumstances (unexpected illness of primary caregiver, etc.).
Tools and Connectivity
Internet Connection, Each remote employee is responsible for providing a broadband internet connection to his/her
workspace. This connection must meet CXT Software's current remote worker connectivity standards, including
adequate bandwidth and reliability. Full-time remote workers will be provided a $30 per month expense allowance
to cover additional internet connection costs required to meet Company connectivity standards. No additional
reimbursement will be provided.
Computer. In most cases, CXT Software will provide Company computers to remote employees, with the software
necessary for the remote worker's job role, including an operating system, browser, office productivity software,
antivirus solution, and ather business tools. Employees are expected to comply with the terms of all software
licenses, and take appropriate security precautions to prevent security breaches or the transfer of malware to
‘Company or customer networks and systems.
Phones. All remote employees will be provided with soft client access to the Company phone system. If the remote
worker's job role involves significant business call volume, CXT Software may provide a physical phone set.
Employees may also be required to maintain an active cell phone and wireless plan, and provide his/her cell phone
number to other CXT Software employees for business use. Those employees will be provided a $30 per month
expense allowance to cover business cell phone use. No additional reimbursement will be provided
Al items provided by CXT Software remain Company property and must be returned in the event the employee
separates from the Company.
Workspace and Supplies
Remote employees are expected to maintain a designated workspace in their remote working location. This
workspace must be safe, free from hazards and distractions, and function as a reasonable work environment for

the employee's job role. The Company reserves the right to inspect this workspace with 48 hours advance notice.
Remote employees will not be reimbursed for routine office supplies. Special cases such as printing collateral for a
trade show, etc., are reimbursable business expenses with manager approval.
Income Tax
Remote working employees are responsible for determining any income tax implications of maintaining a home
office. The Company will not provide tax guidance nor assume any additional tax liabilities. Employees are
encouraged to consult a qualified tax professional to discuss income tax implications.
