TEBE LUT) Our range of pipe insulation and lagging has been developed to pravide optimum insulation properties over a wide temperature range for all hot and cold water applications. It is efficient in safeguarding against frost as it dramatically delays the time it takes water to reach freezing point. It reduces temperature loss in hot water pipes. Comprifiex Insulation is a pre-formed, flexible sealed tube with a labour saving Kwik-Zip fastener The temperature range is -40°C to +S0°C Comprifiex-Insulation offers stable, low thermal conductivity, low water absorption and vapour transmission. Compriflex Insulation must be installed around the pipework surface tightly, without any gaps, with edges and ends tightly butted together, All joints must be taped using a 50 - 75mm self-adhesive PVC tape When necessary, the pipe sections can be cut and mitred together to ensure a tight fit around the bends and trees. Metal sheathing is required for areas where the product is subject to mechanical damage. Comprisheet IS 40 can be used for lagging oversize piping, tanks or irregular vessels. Widths available up to 1.2m. Comprifiex Insulation is ideal for buried pipes as it's closed cell structure ensures minimal moisture absorption and reaction with soils. Suitable alternatives can be used where pipework is insulated prior to installation, Comprifiex Insulation can be used for the insulation of hot water, refrigeration and air-conditioning lines, central heating and sanitary pipes. Other applications are the protection of furniture, glass and bicycles during transport, Edge protection of childrens playground and sports equipment. Comprifiex Insulation is available with a standard 15mm wall thickness. Other sizes are available on request. The standard length is 2m. It is also available ina solid tube without the zip. It must be coated with an acrylic based paint to protect against UV damage.
