List of points you should include:

INTRODUCTION

 Introduce yourself briefly.


 Say that you would like to apply for the job/vacancy/position.
 Say where you found out about the job

SECOND PARAGRAPH

 Say why you would like the job. Motivation (your reasons for applying for
this particular position).

THIRD PARAGRAPH

 Say why you are qualified to do the job (how you meet the demands
stated in the advertisement). Summarize your strengths and relevant
experience and qualifications.
 Refer to your CV for more explanations of your qualifications and skills.

FOURTH PARAGRAPH

 Include the most relevant aspects of your career.

FIFTH PARAGRAPH

 Say when you would be available for interview/ starting.


 Say that you wait for the reply (it can be a different paragraph).

SIXTH PARAGRAPH

 End appropriately

A. You read in the Gramophone magazine the following advertisement:

The Royal College of Music in London is looking for dedicated and responsable
teachers to work in different especialities and departments. All applicants must be
appropriately qualified in their instrument and a good level of English is essential.

Write your letter of application and say the position you are interested in and why.

B. You are interesting in going abroad to study at The Royal College of Music in London.
Demonstrate your interest and reasoning for wanting to attend. Write a letter of
application as an Erasmus student asking for a vacancy.
