Policies are important in every nation and country. As a matter of fact, it helps the

government to tackle a wide range of issues in a country, as well as it serves as a starting point

for the government to take a course of action that makes a real-life change. According to the

Collins English Dictionary, policy is a set of ideas or plans that is used as a basis for making

decisions, especially in politics, economics, or business. I agree on the government’s policies

towards the S&T in the Philippines because it is very beneficial to every Filipino citizen not just in

the Health Sector but as well as in Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources (AANR), Industry,

Energy and Emerging Technology, Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation

(DRR & CCA), etc. In my view, the policy that has a huge impact to the nation building is the

Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation (DRR & CCA) because every Filipino

must be educated or must have even a little knowledge or background of DRR & CCA since our

country is located at the Pacific Ring of Fire which is very vulnerable to any disasters. Given the

expanding weakness of numerous networks, the requirement for catastrophe chance decreases

and environmental change adjustment has turned out to be increasingly dire. It won't just spare

lives, yet in addition, ensure resources and occupations and keep a bigger number of individuals

from getting to be poorer than they as of now are. Thus, everyone needs their full cooperation in

order to equip and save their selves and their loved ones from the upcoming disasters.
