INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study

We may all know what Blood is. We saw it in the movies or films more

specifically in a genre of horror, to our freshly created wounds in our body and other. It is

a broad subject which has integrated into many parts. Blood plays an important role in

our body. It delivers nutrient and oxygen to cells, transport waste from cells and also

maintaining the homeostasis of our body.

On the other hand, stated by an online blog publishing WebMD (2019) Blood is a

constantly circulating fluid providing the body with nutrition, oxygen, and waste

removal. Blood is mostly liquid, with numerous cells and proteins suspended in it,

making blood "thicker" than pure water.

According to an online blog published by Oneblood (2018) Blood is essential to

life. Blood circulates through our body and delivers essential substances like oxygen and

nutrients to the body's cells. It also transports metabolic waste products away from those

same cells. There is no substitute for blood. It cannot be made or manufactured.

Blood has different classification or types such as the A, B, AB, and O. To

classify which blood type you have you will go in the process of Blood Typing which is

necessary and related to Blood Transfusion.

Blood transfusion or the process of donating your blood can be helpful and indeed

a life-saver to someone who in need of blood due to blood loss and other injuries a person

has. However, before using your donated blood to people that in need it must be
compatible or simply it can be useful if the one who in need has the same blood type as

yours.

In fact, On June 15, 1667, the first direct blood transfusion to a human was

performed by the physician Jean-Baptiste Denis, when he gave a feverish young man

approximately 12 ounces of blood taken from a lamb. (The Editors of Encyclopaedia

Britannica, n.d.).

To know your blood type you must first go to the process of Blood Typing. A

process wherein your blood will be examine in which the professionals will classify it in

order to know what is your blood type.

The proponents or the researchers came up with an idea of a innovative

equipment in which Blood Typing can be easily do and identify what’s one individual's

blood type. Which is a syringe that can easily classify your blood type. Furthermore, the

proponents formulated this invention to help and give ease the hospital personnel who

specialized this field wherein blood typing is also their craft and forte to know the blood

type of their patients.

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to prove the advancement of having a automatic syringe that can

detect thr blood type of a patient. Inline with the aforementioned general problem the

researchers came up with the specific problem

Purpose of the Study

The researchers aims to prove the advancement of having an automatic syringe that can

easily detect the blood type of a person. Furthermore, it intent to make a fast medical

service to patients alongside making the task of medical personnel’s more easy.
