Praxis Analysis Paper - Jennifer Ellis
Exam Requirements
order to be admitted to the college of education at UNLV, you must pass the Praxis Core
Exam in Nevada for Reading, Writing, and Math. Each test is timed, and you can take
them all at once or individually. I would need a passing score of 150 in Math, 156 in
Exam Preparation
I did not prepare for the Praxis Core Practice Exam as I should have. I briefly
skimmed the links given to me by my professor that assisted in studying. I had two other

Exam Results

and I was tired. On my reading exam, I scored in the 55% range, which means I need
significant improvement and I will not pass my Reading Praxis Core Exam. In Writing, I
scored in the 68% range, which means that I need improvement and likely will not pass
my Writing Praxis Core Exam. I surprisingly did the best on the Math Exam. I scored in
the 69% range and likely would not pass my Math Praxis Core Exam.

study the various websites given to me by my professor. I also signed up on the Khan
Academy website and will take practice tests there. I was given the Praxis Core Exam
study books and will take advantage of them. The Praxis Core Practice Exams were more
difficult than I had anticipated. I understand how important it is to pass the Praxis Core
