History

Established 2015 as a publishing and sales company that offers books, ebooks, graphic

novels/novellas, comics, audiobooks, calendars and yearly planners based on black,

brown and native American history (and prehistoric) fables and oral traditions that would

otherwise be lost in the digital age. Digitizing lost and forgotten manuscripts for non-

fiction and fiction publications is the overarching goal. Offering a new perspective to

next generations from ancient cultures and civilizations will help bridge the gap between

the older generation, whom feel they have lost touch with a younger tech savvy

generation, whom feel older customs and traditions have no place in our "new world".

Using stories and mythology (with lessons) from cultures such as Axum (Ethiopian),

Kemet (Egyptian), Nubian (Sudan), Asian, Indian, and North/South American (West and

Southwest); we plan on making two series of books (fiction and non-ficition novellas,

novels and graphic novels) entitled The Diamond Legacy and Golden Legacy series to

further draw- in younger generation to bridge that gap between young/middle/elder

generations. Renewed sellers permit to begin selling Jan. 2019 and publish first

manuscript entitled Niani Royal Princess of the Mansa; a historical fiction (that has ties
to fundraising for non-profits tasked with more Malian manuscripts being digitized and

re-published) and put on the market on amazon.com as ebook/printed paperback novella.

Emphasize the need for community readership and cooperation to promote stories that

bring back values, principles, and traditions lost until recently. The ideals of

heir/heiress/royalty to the starters of key elements in modern civilization (math, music,

agriculture, metallurgy, etc...) will effect feelings of pride and make younger generations

want to tap into elders for guidance and wisdom in re-imagining these pearls of wisdom.

Goals and Objectives

To solve the problem of discriminatory hiring practices employing currently and

formerly incarcerated men and women, whom are skilled artists in the genre of pencil

sketch art, graphic novel illustrators and conceptual arts. Donate a substatial portion of

overall profits to non profit organization such as the Hill Museum and Malian

Manuscript Foundation to further preserve and digitize ancient manuscripts endangered

by religious extremism and global terrorism. Ideas for peace keeping initiatives are

found within the manuscripts and can be used in modern day conflict resolution

techniques.

Financials

$500-2500- to pay for initial 12 pages of commissioned art at $50-100/page and fees

associated with purchasing supplies, printed copies for family and friends, and initial
release (TBA) on amazon Kindle Store, Barnes and Noble websites and stores.

Inventory will include but not limited to pencils, 8x11.5 paper, storyboards (supplied by

the Company) and printer ink in order to furnish artists with all they need to successful

carry out commissions in a timely manner (approx. 3 weeks). Funding sources will

include personal loans by business owners, an Indiegogo campaign (began Dec. 31

2018) and events/fundraising shows in the greater Los Angeles and San Diego areas.

Any debt incurred will be paid from profits made from sales and not money issued and

raised for working capital.

Recommended Solution

Using funds raised publish books/ebooks/graphic novellas written/illustrated by

currently and formerly incarcerated artists and place it on the market; on shelves next to

best sellers and promote on social and traditional media. Encourage self-edifying

storylines from North/ South America, Africa and Asia.

Who is your target audience and how will you go about building your clientele?

Mostly targeted to young "disadvantaged minority" adult market 13-25yrs. and building

clientele through gallery like art displays and pop up events with booths distributing

pieces to the Greater LA, Bay Area and San Diego market. Organize fundraising events

through Vezt and local artists to promote published works.

How will it benefit

Employ prison and probation population in order to keep recidivism minimal due to

successful sales and marketing campaigns. Self employed artists will become productive

members of society because of success by their own efforts and confident examples of

rehabilitation and its services to the community at large. Creators will be role models

for younger up and coming at risk youth on the path to the prison system. In addition,

stories that have been locked away in the form of manuscripts can be brought to the

public forum and ancient knowledge can be accessed by many people of different

cultures in order to foster a broader global perspective.
