Title of the book:Artemis Fowl

Introduction: I chose this book because it was my very first series. The story is also nice.It has a
lot of plot twists and very intense and nice parts. I recommend reading it for other people too
because they will like it.
Setting: Ireland, fowl manor
Plot: twelve-year-old Artemis Fowl is a millionaire, a genius, and, above all, a criminal
mastermind. But even Artemis doesn’t know what hes taken on when he kidnaps a fairy.
Captain Captain Holly Short of the LEPrecon unit. These fairies aren’t fairies of bedtime
stories…These fairies are armed and dangerous! Artemis thinks he has them where he wants
them…..but then they stop playing by the rules..
Problem: Artemis’s father died. they lost a lot of money when he went missing and soon,
Artemis’s mother started to have mental problems because of the lost of his father…So Artemis
wants to get their money back, and restart the fowl empire, he had a belief in fairies and it
turned out to be real, but when he kidnaps one,the other fairies became alarmed and wanted
to save captain short.
Solution: When the fairies started attacking him,they didn’t know he has plans.all the fairies
think Artemis isn’t prepared but he actually is. He stole the fairy book which contains all the
people’s secrets. When the fairies saw and realized who they were up against they stopped
playing by the rules….and in the end they had a war.
Conclusion: They had a big war. The fairies trapped the entire fowl manor in a time field, sent a
troll, and even made a bio bomb or “blue rinse” explode in it. But somehow, Artemis survived
all that fuss and dealt with the fairies. In the end the fairies gave up and and admitted they
lost.IN the end Artemis got his gold, and the fairies and captain Holly Short healed his mom and
They promised not to disturb each other ever again.

Moral lesson: Don’t be greedy. If you be too greedy you will get in to big trouble.If Artemis Fowl
wasn’t greedy ,he would not have had a war with the fairies. Another one is to be brave.
Artemis fowl was very brave and dealt with all of his problems very smoothly. if he wasn’t
brave, the fairies would have won. If there was anything I learned from this book it would be
these two. I should lessen my greed and add up my bravery
Characters:

Artemis Fowl: a very crafty and intelligent boy who was a billionaire.due to his father’s
death,they became millionaires instead.He is a criminal that always steals,and helps people
steal for big money.And the thing is,he is just twelve-years-old.
Butler:A very big eight foot tall man that is Artemis’s body guard.he sticks to Artemis always an
protects him at all times.Butler is very strong and can snap a man’s backbone like a twig.He is
Artemis’s partner in crime.he knows a lot of martial arts and he knows how to use all kinds of
weaponry.Despite his tallness and his size,he can be very quiet and is very fsast,and,is very
good at hiding.
Nguyen Xuan: An ordinary person that just wants a nice and rich life.Crafty but not very brave
at all.Answered Artemis’s call on the web.He was very scared,but he was the only one with the
answer on Artemis that’s actually real.
Holly Short:A very brave,serious fairy.She is a captain from the LEPrecon unit or Lower Elements
police.She is also very determined to protect the fairies.She was also the fairy that Artemis
kidnapped.
Root:He is the overall commander of the LEPrecom unit. He is very short-tempered and he
always yells at Holly.He is very brave and will even put his life in risk to try and save the fairies.
Mulch Diggums: A kleptomaniac dwarf that loves stealing for no reason at all.He is always sent
to prison bet he always somehow gets out.he has a total of 600 years in and out of prison.
Foaly: A very smart centaur that can hack anything.he also made all of the gadget in LEP
hq.Although he is this smart and this responsible,he doesn’t even get good praise for his talent
and others even laugh at him. He is very underrated.
Cudgeon: A very cocky and suspicious member of the LEP.
Trouble “kelp”: brave captain of LEP retrieval one.
Corporal Grub: Cowardly brother of captain trouble.
Juliet: the little sister of butler. She went to the same training as butler but she isn’t as strong as
him.
Summary:

It was a hot day when Artemis was on a very important mission on finding fairies with butler on
Ho Chi Minh city. Someone had finally answered their call on the web. His name was Nguyen
Xuan. Artemis doesn’t think there will be any positive results but there was still hope.It was
worth a shot. Artemis and butler waited in the café for Nguyen. A waiter scurried to them and
asked them for more tea. Artemis quickly identified who this was and realized he was no
waiter,he was Nguyen doing a silly weapon check. Nguyen was very surprised when Artemis
found out. Nguyen was also scared because of butler. When Artemis asked Nguyen about
fairies,Nguyen led them to a healer which he think is a fairy. Artemis payed nguyen and let him
go and he started talking to the healer. But the healer asked for wine and said if he didn’t give
wine she wont talk so Artemis gave her wine. When the healer finished,Artemis asked for her
fairy book. The healer pretended that she didn’t know about it but soon gave up. The fairy and
Artemis had a deal and they did it. After Artemis took pictures of the fairy book, he went home.
When he got there he saw Juliet. He went upstairs to check on his mom but his mom was still
sick. So when he looked at the pictures,he saw that it was written in fairy language and he
needed to decode it. So he went nonstop trying to code it until he finally did. He saw all of the
secrets of the fairies. But this was just a part of his plan. what he really wanted was, fairy gold.
Now he was prepared to ask the fairies for it since even if they fought back he knew all of their
secrets.he and butler spent day and night to try and look for one. When they found one, it was
a full moon so artemis knew it was going to restore its powers. He successfully kidnapped it
because of butler’s help. That certain fairy was a captain of the LEP so the other fairies easily
fount out that she was kidnapped. Holly had a tracker so they can trace her easily but they
didn’t know arte is put the tracker on a whaler alongside an explosive. When the leader
followed the tracker he saw that it has gone off shore. He asked foaly and foaly thought it was
maybe a ship or a boat. So commander Root just kept following it. When he got inside and saw
there was an explosive, he ran as fast as he can to go outside and succeeded. After that they
knew who they were up against. So they decided to prepare even more Root sent an entire
retrieval team led by cudgeon to attack fowl manor. But Artemis already had a plan for this. He
sent out butler to stop the entire team and because of butler’s strength, he won. When root
found out about this he got very mad. He arranged plans to stop them but because of the fairy
book, Artemis knew all about this. Root decided to go to fowl manor and talk to Artemis.
Artemis said that if root would give him some fairy gold, he would release captain Short. It took
root very long to agree but he did. Root actually had a plan which was to give the gold take
captain short, then bio bomb the entire fowl manor. Root successfully trapped the entire fowl
manor in a time field so they couldn’t escape but then, cudgeon suddenly came and told root
that he was going to be temporary commander. Root just laughed but it was actually true root
got mad but he ended up accepting it. So the plans changed. Instead of a bio bomb and sending
the gold, he sent a single troll instead. After a while, the troll already attacked and artemis and
butler almost lost but Holly healed Butler and butler literally beated up the troll. When
cudgeon’s plans failed , Root took over again and continued his plans. Root didn’t know Artemis
knew how to escape the time field so he did the tie field. After that, he sent the bio bomb.
Artemis suddenly realized what was going on he also saw that holly escaped and mulch
diggums, a dwarf, retrieved a copy of the fairy book in the fowl manor. Artemis got scared
because the enemy now knows his source of knowledge. But then he remembered that to
escape the time field and the bio bomb was to sleep. So he drank some of his mom’s sleeping
pills and gave some to butler and Juliet too. When they woke up butler asked artemis about the
sleeping pills and he told him about it. When the fairies saw they were alive the fairies admitted
they lost and gave Artemis his gold and healed his mother. Now the fairies and artemis were
happy because captain short was back and artemis’s mother also got healed. Artemis was very
happy but now he also had to be careful of his criminal plans because now, he had a mom his
mom would always watch him and he has school. But of course, Artemis would never give up
being a criminal.
