Development Indicators In The Political, Economic And Legal System

A country has different political systems: democratic where laws and norms are

applied to all people, communism the absentia private property and totalitarianism

exercised by a person in an authoritarian way.

Gross Domestic Product (GDP): It is the indicator that measures the economic

activity of a country through the total sum of goods and services capable of producing in a

year (De Orador Márquez, 2013).

HDI: Index to measure the human development of developing or underdeveloped

countries in the world, and the impact of governments economic policies on progress and

quality of life of the people. (Pampillón, 2009)

Quality of life index: it is an indicator is used to evaluate the general social well-

being of individuals and societies. (ciudad, 2015)

Multinational poverty index reflects the number of people living in poverty, and

allows comparisons both at the national, regional and global levels and within countries.

(Programme, 2019)

Command economy: governments own the factors of production such as land,

capital, and resources. (Kramer, 2019)

Civil Law: is the branch of private law that regulates the main civil relations of

individuals; family relations, property and other civil rights, obligations and contracts, and

successions. (Wikipedia, 2019)

Theocratic Law: It is a form of government rooted in the head of God or Divinity.

(USLEGAL, 2019)

Common Law: is a body of unwritten laws based on legal precedents established

by the courts. (Kramer, 2019)

Part A: In conclusion in the political system is the best political ideology is

democracy because the development of people reaches high levels in the same way poverty

is not so alarming, however Vietnam has a higher quality of life index, but we decide

democracy as better political system because people are free to choose their ruler which

enforces human rights

Part B: In the economic system The country of Syria has a directed economy

because it is the country with the lowest rate of human development and quality of life, it

also has the highest poverty rate, because in this economic system all decisions about the

price, the amount of goods and services are taken by the government that affects the quality

of life of people and the economy of the country.

Part C: In Legal system it can be determined that Syria, compared to Uruguay and

Vietnam, has a high development rate because it is representing by common law, which is

based in custom, use and court decisions in contrast to the systems of civil law.

Part D: According to the research carried out, of the countries analyzed that are

Uruguay, Syria, Vietnam. Iran and China The country with the most benefits is Uruguay

because although it does not have a high rate of quality of life, it is based on a democracy

that allows people to have an opportunity to have a decent life, to work, study and choose

their rulers It also has a mixed economy allowing innovation and production of products

with the help of the government, promoting exports and national consumption. With civil

laws allowing laws that help create jobs, increasing HDI and perhaps the quality of life.
