Advantages and disadvantages of owning a car

The car is undoubtedly one of the greatest humankind's
inventions. Some people depend on it and think that the cars are an
essential part of their everiday life. Others, however are concerned
that cars enslave us rather than liberate and bring too many minuses.
One of the greatest advantages of cars containly their mobility.
The cars, for example, are the best vehicles to almost all kinds of
journeys. If you own a car you can enjoy travelling being able to
arrange your speed as you want to, not to depend on a schedule of
public transport.
On the other hand in the first place you must work much harder
in order to afford a car and even after buying there are too many
headaches for the owner such as paying for gas, car insurence,
repairing. Moreover, the amount of vehicles is rising dramatically and
it will cause air pollution increasing that leads to irreversible
aftereffects like different kinds of human diseases.
Taking into account both sides of the issue, I am inclined to
bealive that the advantages of owning car outweight its drawbacks.
