SUBJECT : Purchasing Managers’ Convention

To keep you informend about the activities of our planning committee for the first
regional purchasing managers’ convention, here is a brief report of our progress so far.

Date, Time and Place

The Tower Oaks Hotel officer are holding the following reservation for us :

 Date : Tuesday, 5 august, 2014

 Informal Luncheon : 12 : 15 – 1 : 30 Regency room-for up to 100 persons
 Conference Room : 9 : 00 – 4 : 30 Mezzanine rooms 202, 203, 204

Tentative Program
So that the convention will have an appropriate official opening, the committee
members are delighted that you have agreed to express to opening welcome – as executive vice
president of the company that is sponsoring the convention.

Keynote Speaker
You will probably be glad to hear that for keynoter we can count on having Jonathan
Harrison, vice president and general manager of National Products Company. The topic he has
chosen is “ The Challenge Ahead for Purchasing Shortage Items.”

Publicity
Our first announcement in newspapers will be early in June. Other news should appear
during July.
Your preferences regarding publicity, brochure, financial and other suggestions you may
have will be sincerely appreciated.
