A value of zero will result in each size having I boundary condition with a friction slope of 0.02. Ifa value greater than 0 is entered inthis feld, the boundary rectangle is draped onto the ground tin and the draped string split into separate channels. When a channel has a depth greater than this toler- lance, the string is split at the crests. Should there be any tin errors found in this process the boundary conditions will revert to one boundary per edge. The boundary check file will provide verification off the boundaries used. Drainage model model box This model must contain drainage strings that can be solved using the dynamic drainage method. Its strongly recommended that you run this drainage model via the DNE before using it inthis panel Inlets inside the grid extent wil be linked to the 2d grid at the grate level and outlets at the sump level. Inlets with the Ku method set to a culvert will alsa be linked ta the sump level, Bypass inlet inside the ‘arid extent will be erased along with bypass across the edge boundaries Inlets will accept water through the grate via inlet capacity curves (sag and on-grade) and will allow unrestricted surcharging. Catchment flows will be directly applied ta the 2d cell connected tothe inlet unless a 2d catchment flow model is specified Ridges model model box. The super strings inthis model will be used to raise the cell sides crossing this string. This will ensure that the cell sides form a barrier to the flow near the string.
