Occasions Reflection Assignment

Studying at Algonquin, the team have arranged a dinner gathering. The dinner had a
dress code which consisted of either suits or dresses to look more professional.
Therefore, everybody came as was told. I have attended the last meal and dessert of
the night. The arranged table looked very elite and prestigious with soothing jazz music
playing in the background. When sitting at the table with my team members, we looked
at the menu and we have decided on what our meal and desert for the night would be.
While waiting for the meals, we started our conversation about our course materials and
general backgrounds of each other based on the fact that we didn’t know each other at
the time. We were talking about the food we chose, different types of ingredients, and
its protein levels. We also had an argument about how to choose the right beverage
with our food. Then, I asked them what kind of wine they prefer. For myself, i prefer red
wine because of its richness in flavor and it fits well with heavy protein meals. Others
prefer white wine over red because of its smoothness. As we got caught in the topic of
wine our desired meal has finally come. Every plate had its richness of aroma and color.
We put our napkins on the lap, and we started eating. Every bite felt like you wanted
more. when we were done with the main course, the dessert has been served to our
table. The chocolate fudge was a blast of chocolate flavor which was enough to fill our
belly. As the desserts were done, we all felt like drinking water because sweetness was
devouring our mouths. We all asked for our bills to be split, payed for the meals and
headed home with smiles on our faces.
