Note:
 It is the student’s responsibility to access information regarding the date and time of all evaluations and due dates. If any of the evaluations
scheduled in the above calendar are re-scheduled, an announcement will be made in class and on DC Connect.
 Grading System: Test 1 – 25%, Test 2 – 25%, Quizzes and Assignments (best 5 of 6 @ 5% each) – 25%,
Online Labs (best 8 of 10 @ 3.125% each) – 25%
 A midterm mark will be calculated at the completion of week 7 based on: Test 1, Best 3 of first 4 Labs, Best 2 of 3 of Quizzes 1&2 and Asgn 1.
 Online Labs are available to complete in WebAssign. They close on a Friday at 11:59 pm on the week that they are posted above.
For example: Lab 1 will close on Sept. 20, Lab 2 will close on Sept. 27, Lab 3 will close on Oct. 4, and so on.
 There will be no individual rewrites or make-up opportunities for missed evaluations: quizzes, assignments, online labs and tests. A mark of “0” will be
assigned to any missed evaluation.
 * If, for any reason, a student is absent for a test, the student may write a closed-book, invigilated Comprehensive Test on week 14. The test is
cumulative of the entire term. This applies to one missed test only. Due to scheduling, students may be required to write the Comprehensive Test
in the Test Centre during a weekend Open Session time at the end of the semester.
