Students critically curate a variety of resources using digital tools to construct knowledge, produce creative
artifacts and make meaningful learning experiences for themselves and others.

resourcesfor their intellectual or creative pursuits.

or other resources.

collections of artifacts that demonstrate meaningful connections or conclusions.

and theories and pursuing answers and solutions.
What Does It Mean?
Students show they can use tools like Google and other search engines to find valid and current information
from credible sources.
-For example, Amy cannot use a clickbait article on everyoneissmart.com to find facts for an upcoming
assignment.

Students use the information they found to connect related school concepts to the real world.
-For example, James used information from a published and peer-reviewed survey on chemical
components in the Chesapeake Bay in a PowerPoint presentation on climate change.
