How to cook a Sandwich

Since 2018, I always have made my breakfast and my favourite dish for breakfast is a sandwich,
because it is simple and easy to cook. I usually cook the sandwich in my boarding house kitchen
and the time that is needed to cook it is just 10 minutes. To make the sandwich, there are steps
that I have to follow. The first, the vegetables, like a tomato and lettuce, are prepared. After
that risen them with clean water and then the tomato is cut into small pieces. The second, some
cooking oil is heated in a fry pan and an egg is put on the fry pan. The egg can be cooked into
fried egg or scrambled egg. Next, two pieces of grain bread are prepared and fried egg or
scrambled egg is put on the top of one side of bread and tomato and lettuce are put on the top
of the egg. Sauce can be added on the top of toppings, and finally the sandwich is cut into two
parts. I always use this receipt to make my own sandwich for my breakfast.

History in My Country
I will tell you about one of historical events from my country – Indonesia. That event happened
in 1998, and at that moment, I was still 3 years old. Most of people called that event as “The
Tragedy of May 1998”. Because of that event, Now, Indonesia is in Reformation Era. Honestly
I do not know what was the effect of it for the world, but for Indonesia it has changed living
conditions of society. Before the riots in May, 1998 happened, Indonesia had been led by
Soeharto for 32 years, and during that period there were so many corruption, collusion and
nepotism activities in the Government of Indonesia. Besides that, the prices of principle
commodities increased significantly, so people could not afford them. Furthermore, during the
riots in may, 1998, Indonesia was in a dark period, because dozens of Chinese-Indonesian
women were rapped and hundreds of houses and shops owned by Chinese-Indonesia were
raided. But after college students had done demonstration and the condition of Indonesia had
not been stable, Soeharto quit from the government. Now, Indonesia has changed becoming
more democratic and people, now, can criticize government freely and the price of principle
commodities has been more stable than before.
