Through the curtains suddenly, A bright light shines in my eyes, like a flash bang. Within seconds, explosions come in, I feel like a soldier in warfare. But I am not scared, because I know it’s a celebration not a chaos.
In the morning, I wake up.
My mother makes me a sandwich, the bread is a little bit hard, but delicious and precious for a special day. She takes me to my grandparents’ house, where I see as well as my mother people who we love and they love us too.
We smile in a second, to each other. After a glance, to one another. The desire like burning fire but also calm like water, my body warm up while my mind is cooling.
Walking together before waiting,
for monks and nuns. We prepare food and water. Feel the wave of warmness the moment I hand them food, even if it is chilling. You still enjoy it in your heart.
“The good things you do, is what you will get.”
A quote said by mother once, from ten years back, makes me regret, when I’ve done something wrong, It is still my memory, for me to recall. And will be forever. Mother please, something good is what I want. “try harder and be better, one day you will feel the sensation.” Back to my grandma and grandpa’s house. In a small square room, we sit together in a circle. Pour a glass of water on to everyone's finger, from one to another. Flowing down and washing the bad things we hate, it then fade away.
