NARRATIVE REPORT ON 2019 DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION AND CONTROL WEEK

The Department of Education joined the observance of the 2019 Drug Abuse Prevention and Control
week with the theme” KATARUNGAN PARA SA KALUSUGAN, KALUSUGAN PARA
SA KATARUNGAN”.

With these,Antipolo National High School held a symposium attended by our Grade 10 and Senior
high school students with our resource speaker from PNP, PSSG Rodel Laurente and PSSG Enrica
Rivas.

During the symposium, our speaker discussed and explained to our students the types of illegal
drugs, its negative effects on the person using it and child abuse because of drugs.

They also called some students who are using cigarette and drinking alcoholic beverages to share
their personal experiences.

After their discussion a video presentation followed depicting on how to avoid and not to be
engaged on drugs.

Certificate of commendation was given to PSSG RODEL LAURENTE for his time, expertise and brilliant
knowledge being shared and PSSG ENRICA RIVAS her time, expertise, and knowledge being share.

The symposium ended successfully clinging to the mind of the students that illegal drugs can destroy
their lives and future as well.
