3.1 School Safety update

We are awaiting to do an active shooter drill. We will continue with our own drills in the
mean time. If it is too upsetting then written instructions can be given to students.
Hopefully information will be sent out before Winter Break. Specific funds will be allocated
to WCTA. Someone may be able to represent us at a school board meeting in the future.
3.2 Traffic update

School Police has been asked to assist in the parking lot. Cars are parking in the red
zones. School Police are reluctant to write tickets if their position is school-based.

Engineers and contractors are working on the flashing lights on Charleston. Hopefully it
can be done by January. More enforcement is needed in the mean time. The flashers are
on from 6:30-7 a.m. and 1:25-1:55 p.m.
