I want to thank you for welcoming me into your professional 

world for the past six weeks. Each day I walked into a different 
classroom I was excited to see observe or get to work on PEAK 
with students. Having the opportunity to work with these 
students was great and gave me some amazing hands-on 
experience that I will be able to apply in the future as I head 
down this career path. 

Working with these students everyday was an absolute joy! It 

was always something new and different when I walked in, 
which was a really fun change in my school day. Whether it 
meant it was a crazy, loud day or slow, quiet day, it was always 
somewhere where I wanted to be and something I always 
wanted to work on. You showed me how important it is to have 
my eyes open and ready to work and how that affects the 
student's reaction and how they respond. 

Watching you be helpful and patient with everyone you interact 

with has impacted me and set goals for me to act the same way 
when I become a teacher. Working alongside you made me want 
to pursue this career field more and more. I can’t wait to see 
what the future holds for you and Dublin City Schools Special 
Education Community. Thank you for everything these past 
weeks!
