Writing Task 2:
Most people think massive and spectacular building is very important for a city. Well
others think that education and health are more important aspects. Although both of these
views have their own reasons that can we discuss later, I believe education and health should
be the priority for a city first.
Some people think the massive and spectacular building is essential for a city because
a city needs income for their development. The incomes can come from the investor then, for
some people the spectacular building can satisfy the investor eyes so more people will invest
and the city incomes will increase. Perhaps, this building can show the high performances and
capabilities than other city. For example, if a city has many unique buildings, this city can
attract more tourist to the city too, and the industry can gain more incomes.
On the other hand, education and health are more important for some people. These
people believe that those aspects have to be top priority first rather than construct building
because the quality of the city can be seen from the health condition of the people and the
quality of the education. I also believe both of these aspects should be improve first in a city.
For example, if the people can access health services and schools better so the the quality of
the people can improve then, the city can improve their capabilities by their own people and
will impact the economic too.
In conclusion, although the first view have relevant reason to support the
development of the city, I personally agree that a city should better focus more on the quality
of the humans rather than the buildings for the longer type of investment.
