College Department Celebrates Nutrition Month 2019

Saint Michael College in Cantilan Surigao del Sur, held the annual celebration
of Nutrition Month initiated by the National Nutrition Council (NNC) and that is based
on Presidential Decree 491, on the theme: “Kumain nang wasto at maging
aktibo..Push Natin To”.

Various activities were conducted by the different organizations in accordance

with the theme. Several student and teachers participated in the events sponsored by
the Youth Medical Team (YMT) and Home Makers Clubs that includes: Talk on Health
Care on July 25 held at the Maalman Christian Community Center that was given by
Mrs. Rosalinda G. Arcero, School Nurse. Aside from that on July 16 activities like Fruit
and Vegetable Display participated by the four departments; Ginat-an Cooking
Contest and Nutritious Juice and Snacks participated too, by the selected members of
other organization and non-academic respectively and last is the Kinilaw Contest on
July 31, participated by the Academic Club.
