Study Plan

AP tests are some of the hardest tests that multiple students take in high school. These

tests require hours of study and focusing in order to hopefully achieve a high score and receive

college credit for that specific class. In my studying for the AP Language and Composition

exam, there are different types of practice tests and questions that I can use to help myself get a

better score. For my study plan for the AP Language exam, I will use the 5 Steps To A 5 book,

the cross-platform prep course, the sample tests and questions on College Board, and I will

practice writing specific essays under time limits after reading over my essays I wrote during the

fall semester.

In the 5 Steps To A 5 book, there are hundreds of practice multiple choice questions that I

can answer and different examples of scored essays by other students. Also, in the front cover of

the book, the personal login for the online prep course is found, which gives access to a study

plan for a certain date, practice tests and multiple choice questions, and flashcards. The course

can also be used on a mobile app that makes studying more convenient for high schoolers today.

On college board’s website, there are also hundreds of practice tests and problems to complete

with the answers explained afterwards. The last thing that I need to make sure that I accomplish

is reading over my essays that I have written this semester and also practice writing essays under

the time limit that the exam will be formatted in. Doing all of these steps in a timely manner will

help me to be prepared for the AP Language exam, given the fact that there is another full

semester before the exam is taken.
