Study Plan
AP tests are some of the hardest tests that multiple students take in high school. These
tests require hours of study and focusing in order to hopefully achieve a high score and receive
college credit for that specific class. In my studying for the AP Language and Composition
exam, there are different types of practice tests and questions that I can use to help myself get a
better score. For my study plan for the AP Language exam, I will use the 5 Steps To A 5 book,
the cross-platform prep course, the sample tests and questions on College Board, and I will
practice writing specific essays under time limits after reading over my essays I wrote during the
fall semester.
In the 5 Steps To A 5 book, there are hundreds of practice multiple choice questions that I
can answer and different examples of scored essays by other students. Also, in the front cover of
the book, the personal login for the online prep course is found, which gives access to a study
plan for a certain date, practice tests and multiple choice questions, and flashcards. The course
can also be used on a mobile app that makes studying more convenient for high schoolers today.
On college board’s website, there are also hundreds of practice tests and problems to complete
with the answers explained afterwards. The last thing that I need to make sure that I accomplish
is reading over my essays that I have written this semester and also practice writing essays under
the time limit that the exam will be formatted in. Doing all of these steps in a timely manner will
help me to be prepared for the AP Language exam, given the fact that there is another full
