AP Language Exam Study Plan

For my study plan for the AP Language Exam, I have decided to do a five month study

plan because I usually score better on exams if I study for a prolonged amount of time.

Therefore, my five month study plan will help me achieve a better score on the exam rather than

a six-week study plan.

- JANUARY: On week one of January, I will try to do a multiple choice section in 5 Steps

to a 5 in order to practice more on my reading comprehension. On week three, I will

write a rhetorical analysis essay answering a prompt used in the AP Language 2019

Exam. On week five, I will answer a multiple choice section on AP Central in order to

further my multiple choice skills for the exam.

- FEBRUARY: On week two of February, I will do three activities in 5 Steps to a 5 in

order to further my skills for the exam. On week four, I will write a synthesis essay

answering a prompt used in the AP Language 2019 Exam.

- MARCH: On week one of March, I will do five activities in 5 Steps to a 5 in order to

further my skills. On week three, I will write an argumentative essay answering a prompt

used in the AP Language 2019 Exam. On week five, I will answer a multiple choice

section on AP Central in order to further my skills for the exam.

- APRIL: On week two of April, I will do seven activities in 5 Steps to a 5 in order to

further my skills. On week four, I will look over my essays and edit them in order to view

what points I would achieve on each of them. Then, I will rewrite which one was the

worst in order to further my writing skills.

- MAY: On week one of May, I will do eleven activities in 5 Steps to a 5 in order to fully

achieve my skills. On week two, I will review the skills for writing a synthesis, rhetorical

analysis, and argumentative essay in order to know what skills I need in writing those

essays. In addition, I will try to do the type of essay that I am weaker in AP Classroom in

order to fully achieve my skills for that essay. On the week of the AP Exam, I will review

the multiple choice and writing skills in the 5 Steps To A 5 book.

- On the weeks that I am not writing, doing activities, or doing multiple choice, I will take

a break, but I will try to study with a website that was provided in the 5 Steps to a 5 book.
