We Build Integrity FOR PATCHING UP OF GAP AT VERTIC: iT, CORNER UNIT AND CHIPPED OFF PANELS General ‘The method statement is to allow for panels which may have experienced gaps which may due to settlement or workmanship and also for panels with a little chipping off during the various stages of handling, Materials 10mm polystyrene for gaps, Estopatch MP mixed with bondcrete white cement and water. Surface Preparation ‘The chipped off areas or gaps that require patching up works shall be rougher and cleaned thoroughly to censure that all surfaces are completely free of laitance, oil dust, grease, and other deleterious materials. ‘Washing with water is also good to clear of debris around the chipped off areas, Application ‘The areas that require patching up works shall be insert with 10mm polystyrene then patching up with Estopatch MP mixed with bonderete white cement and water to form a consistent and workable cement ‘mortar in order to achieve a finishing that is almost consistent in colour with the precast panels. ‘The patching up shall be carried out by using a steel trowel and subsequently finished with a sponge to attain a smooth finish, When necessary, the process may be carried out more that once until the finish product is almost consistent to the original panel colour. ‘The polystyrene will be cleared by using screw driver which 10mm gaps will be remained,
