MY GOAL$

My name is Haley Williams. In 2028,ten years from now, I

will be 25 years old and well into my career as a petroleum
engineer. I would be making approximately $180,272.94 per
year however, with all of the taxes taken out, i’ll only be
making $62,194.19 per year. Although this isn’t six figures,
this is still plenty for me to enjoy my life and live
comfortably. With this, I should be able to buy a car and
house and still have extra money to do other things that I
love and enjoy.

me, I live in a 1
bed, 1 bath condo
in Atlanta, Ga. I
pay $945 / month
for rent.
MY CAR

My dream car has

always been a
jeep wrangler so,
I got one. I
drive a 2020
black jeep
wrangler. I pay
$507 a month.
Justification & Family
Net monthly income = $5,182.84
(monthly rent) -$945.00
(monthly car payment) -$507.00
(gas & car insurance) -$400
(bills) -$777.42
MONTHLY SPENDABLE INCOME = $2,553.42
Since i’m not married and have
no kids, im able to do more
and save my money. I have
$2,553.42 left over for me to
spend on groceries and other
wants of mine. I’ll also have
enough money for me to put
aside and save for different
places I want to travel to.
This project taught me the
importance of bugeting and
managing your money.
