Those of you who are handling live projects can actually, if you wish, use the same as reference. Others
may pretend they're doing so. You need to pretend you're on a leadership team. It could be setting up a
manufacturing plant, installing machines that your company manufacturers and markets, a public utility
infrastructure project such as building the Bangalore Metro or the Peripheral Ring Road. The main
challenge for you would be to ensure timely delivery, with no cost escalation.

Name the project role that provides resources or support for the project. How would that person
promote and protect the project at higher levels of management ?

Go through all stages of the project from initiation to delivery

Do spend some space on how you deal with communications among people with diverse cultures.

Halfway through your project, you realize that you need to hire additional personnel to ensure that
completion isn't delayed. How will you convince your project sponsor to agree to the hire? How will you
on-board the new hires?

What other difficulties would you envisage during the life-time of the project? How would you
overcome them?
