I was ecstatic to hear about a job opening in your company through a mutual friend, John Doe.
As a person strong in the field of accounting due to extensive training, I am interested in a
summer internship, preferably in your accounting program.

I am an analytical, determined and a hard worker. Over the course of two years in high school, I
have successfully completed College Accounting One, and College Accounting Two.
Furthermore I have completed a class specifically geared toward learning the programs of the
computer. This was also a college level class, taken while I was in high school. These have been
the most interesting classes I have taken, and I am greatly interested in this field of work.
