Banking Data Analysis using Hadoop

This project was undertaken as a Live Project from Technogeeks,

Pune. The main objective of this project is to collect data from
different sources, transform semi-structured data into structured data,
merge and store these data and analyze these data to retrieve
information in accordance to the requirements of the bank.

Application Software used: - VMware, Cloudera Hadoop, SQL

Developer (Oracle 11g), and Tableau.
Utility Software used: - Pig, Hive, Sqoop, Flume, and MySQL.

Advance development: -
1. Transforming single node cluster into multi-node cluster using
master/slave architecture.
2. Automation using Oozie.

Future Scope of Hadoop: - Government agencies, healthcare and life

science, retail industry, financial services, telecom companies,
manufacturing systems.
